1. Data Privacy & Local Processing
At MARK_Tools, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. Unlike traditional platforms, our tools are built on a Privacy-First, Client-Side Architecture. This means when you upload a PDF, compress an image, or format a JSON file, the processing happens locally within your web browser.
We do not upload, store, view, or transmit your files to any external servers or databases. Once you close your browser tab, your data is gone instantly.
2. Google AdSense & Cookies
MARK_Tools is a free service supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to serve ads to our visitors. Google uses cookies to serve ads on our site based on prior visits.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- We have no access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.
3. Standard Log Files
Like many other Web sites, MARK_Tools makes use of log files generated automatically by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and CDN (Cloudflare). The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. This data is not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
4. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
We respect the rights provided under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because MARK_Tools does not require account registration and processes user files locally, we do not store personal profiles. However, you have the right to:
- Request disclosure of data collection practices regarding technical cookies.
- Opt-out of personalized advertising via your Google Account.
- Clear your browser's local storage and cache, which instantly wipes any temporary application data generated by our tools.
5. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its Terms and Conditions. If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us.
